Dog Walking in Frisco, TX
Dog walking in Frisco, TX, comes in two lengths: a 30-minute walk is $35 and includes 20 to 25 minutes of walking. A 45-minute walk is $40 and includes 35 to 40 minutes of walking. Fur Services Fur Pets includes the first two pets in either price.
We walk dogs in select areas of north and west Frisco, so check your address before you plan on a weekly walk. If you work or are out for the day, a Pet Companion comes by and takes your dog out, so your dog gets a break and some company before you’re home.

What a Dog Walk Includes
Every walk is customized to your dog. Pet Companions show proper leash techniques, encourage basic commands and, as a bonus, work on basic obedience with your dog out on the walk.
Walk or Mid-Day Play Visit?
Does your dog need a walk, or a break and some play? A walk takes your dog out of the house. A mid-day visit is time with a Pet Companion, who plays fetch, tug or keep away and lets your dog lead how the time is spent.
These visits suit a dog who isn’t interested in a walk, and they can also support the potty training efforts you already have going.
In Frisco, a 20-minute mid-day visit is $32 and a 30-minute visit is $35. Both are billed per visit and cover the first two pets.
Choosing a Walk Length and What It Costs
Our north and west Frisco areas both fall in the Area B pricing zone, and each walk is priced per visit with the first two pets included:
Walking time is the number to compare between the two, and the 45-minute walk lists more of it: moving up from the 30-minute walk adds $5 and 15 minutes of walking. Our dog walking page carries the complete rate card.
Once you’ve chosen a length, book your dog’s walks through the online client portal.
Who Comes to Your Home
When you’re at work or out, you can’t watch the walk, so who comes into your home and how you hear back both count. Pet Companions work for Fur Services Fur Pets as W2 team members, and they pass background checks.
Your dog’s Pet Companion starts with close to 20 hours of formal training, completed before entering a client’s home. Another 40 hours of hands-on shadowing with senior team members comes next.
You can reach the team by email, phone, text or the client portal, whichever you prefer, and we send you a photo card after every visit.

"Love them so much they are now doing daily visits while we are at work."
What Frisco Expects on a Dog Walk
Frisco’s rules for walking a dog start with who may hold the leash. The city’s animal code calls an animal at large when it isn’t under the physical restraint of the owner or custodian “or any other person authorized by the owner to care for the animal” by “leash, cord, chain, or rope.” That wording reaches whoever the owner has authorized, so the leash expectation applies when someone else is holding the leash.
The City’s park rules add that animals must be accompanied by a responsible person and restrained by leash, rope, cord or other physical restraint devices “at all times.” City of Frisco Animal Services puts it briefly in its wildlife tips: “always walk dogs on a leash.”
Parks have a few places where a dog may not go. Under the city code, it is unlawful for a person “solely or jointly responsible for controlling” an animal to allow it on an athletic field, in a concession or restroom area, or on a plaza or playground within a park, or within 75 feet of those areas. The 75-foot rule has one exception: an animal that is completely on a paved walking trail no more than 10 feet wide and stays on that trail while within 75 feet of any athletic field, concession or plaza area. The code excepts service animals.
Frisco Dog Walking Questions
Is a 30-minute walk really 30 minutes of walking?
Not all of it, and you can check the split before you book. The rate card prints walking time beside each length, 20 to 25 minutes for the 30-minute walk and 35 to 40 for the 45-minute walk.
What does Frisco's code say about dog waste on a walk?
Frisco’s code makes it unlawful, and a public nuisance, for an animal’s owner or custodian to allow waste to “remain on public or private property,” and it counts walks, sidewalks, alleys, parks and recreation areas among the public property. The City’s Public Works stormwater page gives a reason it matters: storm drains go into streams, and that water “DOES NOT go through a treatment process.”
When do Frisco's trails and parks close?
The City of Frisco says trails open 30 minutes before sunrise and close 30 minutes after sunset, and the city code sets the same window for neighborhood parks. The code also makes it unlawful to remain in a park after the posted closing times.
Do holiday fees apply to dog walks?
Yes, holiday fees apply to dog walks on reservations booked for New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve. The amount varies by service and is subject to change, so ask the team for the figure that applies to your walks.
Do I have to book walks on a fixed schedule?
No. A dog walk can be a regular day each week, a few days a week or a single occasional day, and a fixed schedule isn’t a requirement. Every booking goes through the same online client portal process, whether you walk weekly or now and then.
