Where We Care for Pets in Frisco, TX
We currently care for pets in north and west Frisco, and we’d rather say that upfront than have you find out later. North Frisco is growing fast along the US-380 corridor, around the roughly 2,545-acre Fields development and PGA Frisco. That stretch borders Prosper, where Fur Services Fur Pets already cares for pets. West Frisco tells a different story, with established neighborhoods where families have put down roots and built routines around their dogs and cats.
Frisco itself is also home to Ruff Range Dog Park, at B.F. Phillips Community Park, a city-run off-leash dog park with separate areas for large and small dogs.
Rather than publish a neighborhood list and hope yours made the cut, ask us directly. Coverage boundaries shift as we grow, so the fastest way to get a real answer is to tell us your address.
Which Service Fits Your Pet
Gone all day for work?
Dog walking in Frisco or a mid-day visit covers it.
Traveling?
Pet sitting visits work well, with an overnight stay for pets who need someone there at night. Dog sitting in Frisco means at least two visits a day, or three without a doggy door, and cat sitting in Frisco can be as few as one visit a day.
Dealing with summer heat?
A mid-day potty-and-play visit in place of a walk helps during the hottest part of the day.
Frisco is in our Area B pricing zone. Starting rates:
Not sure which one fits? Each service page breaks down exactly what’s included, down to visit length and pet count, plus the full rate sheet for that service. If summer heat is part of your decision between dog walking and a mid-day visit, our FAQ below covers summer walk timing.
Who Cares for Your Pet
The person who comes into your home is called a Pet Companion. Pet Companions are W2 team members who pass background checks and complete close to 20 hours of formal training before they set foot in a client’s home, then another 40 hours of hands-on shadowing with senior team members.
Every visit comes with a photo card, the kind that tends to collect on counters and mantels over time. Prefer a text, a phone call, an email, or a message in the online client portal? However you want to stay in touch while you’re away, we’ll meet you there.
Owner Jessica Milam holds the Elite Fear Free certification, which centers on reducing fear, anxiety, and stress for pets. She was also named Pet Sitters International’s 2025 Pet Sitter of the Year. Fur Services Fur Pets earned NAPPS’ 2022 Business of the Year award as a company. You can read more about Jessica and our team on our About page.

Frisco Pet Sitting FAQs
Does Fur Services Fur Pets cover my part of Frisco?
Coverage today is select areas of north and west Frisco, not the whole city. The fastest way to know for sure is to check your address with us directly rather than guess from a map or a neighborhood name.
How far ahead should I book for the holidays?
In a 2024 survey of professional pet sitting businesses, more than half had started taking holiday reservations at least six months ahead, and more than half expected to be fully booked two to three weeks before the holiday. If you’re planning around Thanksgiving, winter break, or spring break travel, book earlier rather than later so your preferred visit times are still open.
When should I schedule dog walks during Frisco's summer heat?
Texas pavement can climb past 130 to 150 degrees in direct sun once air temperatures hit the 90s, hot enough to burn paw pads in under a minute. In summer, ask for morning or evening walk times, and consider a mid-day potty-and-play visit instead of a walk for the hottest part of the day.
How many pets can I have in my Frisco home, and does the city require leashes?
Per the City of Frisco’s animal ordinance, a residence may have up to six animals, which can include dogs, cats, or ferrets, and animals aren’t allowed to run loose. That’s the same leashed standard our Pet Companions already follow on every walk, ordinance or not.
My neighborhood has an HOA. Does that affect scheduling?
Plenty of Frisco neighborhoods are HOA-managed, master-planned communities, so just let your Pet Companion know about gate codes, visitor registration, or any community rules when you book. It’s a quick note that saves everyone a trip back to the car.
Can I meet my Pet Companion before the first visit?
Yes. Once you’ve booked your services, we set up a meet-and-greet so you and your pet can meet your Pet Companion face to face before the first scheduled visit.
